INTERIM REPORT BY NHOA ADVISING TRUSTEE

To all current NHOA members.
I, Sydney Keith Weber, wish to report the following:
As the appointed Advising Trustee, this report is prepared by myself to bring all members up to speed.
For the past two years, I have been advising Ernie Visser on matters of importance, to assist him in his function as an inspector and interim helper trustee. During this time, many matters of importance to the community were dealt with, as and when they were brought to our notice.
Over this period there have been resignations of trustees. Eugene Ellis, Koos Jamneck, and now in February of this year, Ernie Visser (Interim Vice-Chairman), Christine Visser (Secretary, due to her move to Johannesburg.
Our preparations to hold an Annual General Meeting this February 2021, has come to an abrupt halt due to these circumstances.
Let me explain. I have a world-wide ministry and do not have much spare time to act in a working capacity as a trustee, except for the advising that has been done. A new trustee has volunteered to assist as an Assisting Trustee for the interim period until the Annual General Meeting can be arranged after the current problems have been attended to.
NHOA needs the following voluntary helpers to become Trustee Members on the Committee:
- Interim Vice Chairman.
- Interim Secretary.
These will be instructed by myself, in my advising capacity, as to what they will be required to do.
They will need to attend the next meeting of trustees. A form has been provided below to assist in this matter.
The important thing for all members to realize is that the Committee cannot be done away with, as this will bring untold problems due to Municipal takeover control. It is a much more expensive route, with onerous conditions than having the Association.
We have several businessmen and women as members. It would be appreciated if someone or others could assist us in this interim period.
Nominations and volunteers are being required to assist this matter.
This website has been designed to replace the previous website, which was hacked and thereby became redundant. As previously, io2u Ministry CC paid for its upkeep, so now does this also apply, bearing the initial costs to have it set-up to be functional. Two suitable notices will be placed in two local newspapers in English and Afrikaans within the LEGAL SECTION, by Monica Korf, Attorney.
Transfer Applications and building inquiries will be handled by myself for the time being, until suitable Trustees volunteer.
The volunteers will have a say in the running of the affairs of the Association, within their respective offices. I have been a member of the Association, in various positions since the Inaugural meeting when the Association was first launched. I have assembled an ARCHIVE OF DOCUMENTS that have been presented to me, all arranged in date order, for easy reference. The registered address for all documentation, for the time being, is 6 Riesling Street, Normandie Estate, Brackenfell.
The current remaining two trustees wish you all a happy stay in Normandie Estate, Brackenfell. Working as a team will result in our properties being improved towards profitability.
